Polera DavidPOLERA, David Francis - With great sadness, we announce the passing of David on December 2, 2019 at the age of 41.

Cherished by his mother, Josephine and father Frank.

Treasured by his sisters, Felicia (Brian Pittana) and Lucy.

Pre-deceased by his grandparents, Domenico and Lucia.

David leaves behind his aunts Tina (Mario), Cathy (Al), and Maria (Paul).

David will be missed by his cousins Lily (Manny), Robert (Gemma), Anthony (Marian), Richard, Michelle, Vanessa, Martina, Amanda, and Gianluca.

A graduate of York University (BFA) and Humber College (Electrical Engineering Technologist), he had a passion for sciences and the arts. He was an accomplished playwright, with a deep love of theatre, film and music. He was a prodigious reader with a great love of learning. David had a reserved demeanor and always chose his words carefully. He loved to spend his time with family and friends. With a confident smile, he was always ready to help. His quick wit and gentle sense of humour will be missed.

Relatives and friends are welcomed to the Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday, December 8th from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 811 Lawrence Ave. W., Toronto on Monday, December 9th, 2019 at 1:15 p.m. Entombment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
