THI, Yen Thu - (March 9, 1958 - December 5, 2019) -
Yen Thu was a devoted wife, loving mother, and friend to many.
She was selfless and caring. She found happiness in the little things and lived a simple life raising her two sons while also caring for her nieces and nephew. Her husband treated her very well and she had a long and happy marriage that ended with his passing 11 years ago. She continued to be strong for her two boys.
She was born in Vietnam and then moved to Canada. She worked as a seamstress and supported her husband's schooling. She also supported her many brothers and sisters at the same time. She became a wonderful house wife and eventually a basket designer, which she enjoyed very much.
She was unfairly taken by complications from brain cancer. She was very cared for by family and friends throughout her time of difficulty and passed on peacefully in the presence of her loved ones. Her gentle smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation, service and reception at Meadowvale funeral centre, Brampton on December 14th from 9:30 am until 12:00 p.m. Burial at Meadowvale cemetery at 12:15 p.m.
