PRIES, Ana De Lourdes Pereira Teles - While surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 79.
Ana was born in Rosario, Lagoa, Acores, Portugal on December 17, 1939.
Ana will be reunited with her beloved husband of 55 years, the late Jose Pires (November 28, 2017).
She is the loving Mother of George (Nelly), Grace (Mario), Maria (Nick).
Ana will be sadly missed by her dear grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Andrew and Samantha.
Her memory will be cherished by her sister Diamantina, and she will be rejoined by her pre-deceased brothers Manuel and Eduardo.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the nursing staff and doctors at Toronto Western & General Hospitals and to all those who have supported our family during this time of sorrow.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on December 9, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place at St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, 1481 Dufferin Street, Toronto on December 10, 2019 at 9:30 AM.
