CHAMP, Dennis - It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Champ on January 9, 2020.
His passing has left his children, Karen and Scott, with incredible sadness as he brought so much joy to their lives.
His love of his family was so present in everything that he did.
Dennis was the father-in-law to Earl and Janette, and the beloved grandfather to Emma, Riley, Courtney, Chloe and Jonathan.
He was an incredible role model for his grandchildren, and took so much pleasure in their many successes. To his sister, Sheri (Robinson), he was not only her brother, but a guiding light for her at an early age. He enjoyed so many happy times with Sheri, his brother-in-law Bill, and nephews, Lerritt and Leslie.
Brother-in-law Bob (Blake), sister-in-law Koba, nephew Chris and niece Meaghan all held a special place in his heart.
The kindness and care they effortlessly shared with him brought so much happiness to his life.
We will all miss him so dearly, but be forever blessed for being such an enrichment to our lives.
Dennis has now been reunited with his beloved wife Barbara (nee Blake). May their new adventures together be just as wonderful.
Friends and family may call at the Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket for visitation on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation – Stronach Regional Cancer Centre in Dennis’ name would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
