MURRELL, Larry John - Passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s hospital in Toronto, on Sunday January 12, 2020 in his 71st year.
Larry was the beloved father of Loralee Murrell and Cory Murrell. He was a very proud grandfather of Kyle Amendola. Loving brother of Randy Murrell.
Dear son of the late Helen and Maxwell Murrell.
Larry was a man who made his dreams a reality. He was a successful businessman working in multiple CPG companies in his earlier career. People would remember his sharp style wearing three-piece suits and charismatic bigger than life personality.
Larry was an avid horse lover, owning multiple winning standardbred racehorses throughout his life. He was also a collector and seller of sports memorabilia.
Larry will be missed by many but always remembered.
Arrangements with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket. Visitation will be held there on January 15th from 7 - 9pm, and on January 16th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service there at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Newmarket cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Reception will then follow at the funeral home reception room (upstairs) from 1 - 3pm.
