Dear sister and sister-in-law of Morris and Barbara Leckerman, the late Anne and the late Peter Wolfson, the late Libby and the late Louis Weiss, the late Philip "Solly" Leckerman; and sister-in-law of the late Ethel and the late Hy Yaffe.
Esther will be deeply missed and always remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and the Jewish community for her dedicated career with the Young Israel of Chomedey spanning more than 30 years.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, Montreal on Friday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva in Montreal at Ruby Foo's Hotel, 7655 Decarie Blvd., following burial until sundown and Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Continuing in Toronto at 29 Larratt Lane, Richmond Hill, Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
