Low AlexanderLOW, Alexander Hamilton - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on January 15, 2020 in his 75th year.

Dearly missed by Heather Low (nee Young) and their children Denise, Jennifer, Scott and Jason (Joanne). Proud grandfather of Amanda, Jessica, Logan, Rebecca, Terin, Brooklyn, Reed, Landon and Callen. Great grandfather of Ella, Carter and Briar.

Predeceased by his sisters Mary (Danny), Ellen (Harry), Hannah (Henry) and Francis (Daniel). Son of the late Alexander and Hannah Low.

He was a lifelong public servant, devoting 32 years on the force as a York Regional Police Staff Sergeant and a member of the 48th Royal Regiment Highlanders.

Alexander was passionate about hockey and was always an animal lover, with a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Biscuit, they are now reunited in heaven.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake ICU department for their excellent care and compassion.

Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Saturday, January 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments following the service at the Police Shed in Newmarket on Stonehaven Avenue.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Service Dogs.
