Wong SandraWONG, Sandra Lai Chun- 66 years old, ended her two year fight with lung cancer and passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2020.

She was surrounded by her loved ones, her sons Jesse and Jay, daughter-in-law Jackie, her best friend Amy, and her husband, Vincent Kwong.

She is now resting in peace in the loving grace of God our Father in Heaven.

The family is most grateful for the spiritual, emotional, caregiving support, advice and well wishes of relatives and friends, the parish church, and the medical staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Grandmother of Xeius Tran-Wong, Kingston Wong, Kylie Wong, and Kaia Wong, step-son Benjamin Kwong (Mireille Painchaud), step-daughter Christine Kwong (Jean-Philippe Agaisse), step grandmother of Julien Agaisse and Elise Agaisse.

Visitations will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, between 5:00pm and 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 3898 Highway 7 East, Unionville on Thursday, January 23, 2020, between 10:30am and 11:30am. A luncheon will be held after the Funeral Mass at Grand Lake Chinese Cuisine & Banquet (8362 Kennedy Road Unit #8, Markham) at 1:30pm to share stories and remember a life lived to the fullest.

To respect Sandra’s last wishes, the family requests you make a charitable donation to Evergreen Hospice in lieu of flowers. Donations can be made online at Evergreen or in person during the Visitation. Evergreen provided emotional support to Sandra and caregiver advice to Vincent during Sandra’s 2 year fight with the disease.
