GISMONDI, Anna Loreta - It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Loreta Gismondi (nee Gabriele) announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the age of 83.
Anna was born in Isola del Liri, Frosinone, Italy on May 7th, 1936 and spent over 10 years raising her family in France before making the courageous choice to move them to Canada in 1967.
She dedicated her life and found her happiest joy in her family and was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
Anna will be lovingly and forever remembered by her son Renato (Connie), her daughter Nadine, her grandchildren Vanessa (Owen), Christian (Samantha) and her great grandchildren, Evan Paul and Maddalena Corradina.
She joins her husband Loreto (d. 1984), her grandson Paul (d. 1999) and many other guardian angels in heaven.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Humber River Hospital for their support and dedication to Anna’s care.
Visitation arrangements with Ward funeral home, WOODBRIDGE chapel on January 19th from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 9pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11am on Monday, January 20th at Immaculate Conception Parish in Woodbridge.
