Accettura VitoACCETTURA, Vito - Vito Accettura was born on August 7, 1935 in Modugno, Bari, Italy and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 12, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Beloved husband of Rosa, loving father of Rose (Frank Rosso), Frank Accettura, Joe Accettura and Domenica (Salvatore Iervolino).

Cherished Nonno of Maryrose (Johnny Villella), Stephanie Rosso, Frankie Rosso (Avneet), Christina Rosso, Giovanna Iervolino and Emilio Iervolino. Cherished Bis Nonno of Antonio, Massimo and Ilaria.

Vito will be deeply missed by his sister Antonietta (Antonio Ferraioli). He was predeceased by his siblings Domenico (Micuccio) Accettura and Pietro Accettura.

He will always be remembered as a hardworking husband who provided for his family. He enjoyed barbequing, gardening, making Italian wine, playing Scopa, dancing and listening to his favourite Italian music.

He will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of his family and friends in Canada and in Italy.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin), Toronto on Monday, February 17th from 2-4 & 6-9pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, February 18th at 10am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Vito Accettura may be made to Kensington Health\Hospice Toronto.
