PHUNG, Luu Quyen - Passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
Born in China, lived and worked in Saigon, Vietnam, Luu Quyen then immigrated with her daughter to south western Ontario after the Vietnam War.
There she settled in Chatham, Ontario, living with her daughter to help raise her granddaughters, as well as Toronto, Ontario, where she lived with her step-grandsons and step-granddaughter.
Determined as well as physically and mentally strong, she survived her late husband, brother, sister, and only daughter.
As a centenarian, she witnessed and experienced numerous events and milestones - ultimately sharing a wealth of knowledge, lessons learned, laughter, and joy to everyone she encountered.
Rest in peace dear, Luu Quyen - you are much loved!.
Visitation will be held at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres, Richmond Hill on Saturday, 22 Feb 2020 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM followed by the service from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
