LECCHINO, Franceschina (nee Giorgio) - God called Franceschina home on February 17th, 2020 at the age of 71.
Franceschina was born on August 12th, 1948 in Chiaravalle Centrale province of Catanzaro, Italy to Vincenzo Giorgio and Caterina Facciolo.
She moved to Toronto, Canada with her husband Antonio Lecchino and they raised 3 loving children, Frank (Cindy), Mario (Sandra) and Enzo. She was a devoted Nonna to her granddaughter Mia.
She will be greatly missed by her family, including her siblings Pino Giorgio (Marian), Giuseppina Magisano (Giuseppe), Angelo Giorgio (Silvana), Giovanni Giorgio (Giuseppina) and Antonio Giorgio (Antonietta) and numerous nieces and nephews. Franceschina is reunited in heaven with her loving siblings Vincenzo, Barbara, Nicola and Mario.
She will be held dearly in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends.
Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin Street) on Thursday February 20th from 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday February 21st at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church (402 Westmount Avenue). Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue West).
Franceschina will forever be held dear in our hearts.
