Devoted and loving wife of 63 years to Paul Scerri.

Precious mother of Susan Makowka (John) and Linda Dimech (Philip).

Treasured grandmother of Michelle (Mario), David, Matthew (Angela), Michael and Jessica.

Great-grandmother of Sienna and Aubrey.

Daughter of the late Paul and Victoria Vassallo.

Loving sister of Grace, Tony, Vince and Charlie.

Predeceased by brothers Joseph, Paul, Nick and Frank.

She was greatly loved by a large extended family in Canada, Malta and the United States and will be greatly missed.

A very special and heartfelt thanks to all the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at the Reactivation Care Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre. An extra special thank you to Dr. Gutman, Dr. Kliman, her charge nurse, Susan, and all the staff on 6G at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre who simply went above and beyond in mom’s care.

Visitation will be held at Lynett Funeral Home, Toronto, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 3224 Dundas Street West, Toronto, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. Burial to follow.

For those who wish memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
