Moving to the suburbs of Scarborough, they started a family.

To Christel family meant everything, from birthdays to holidays, celebrations always came together at “Oma’s” and not one event was ever missed.

Mrs. Bodo/Mama/Oma will be forever missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Bodo, daughter Petra (Michael), son Henry (Rhiannon), four grandchildren, Nicole, Erika (Cameron), Kurt and Annika, sister Edith predeceased (Ronald predeceased), sister Renate (Johann predeceased), brother Klaus (Maria), many nieces and nephews as well as the many friends and family in Canada and “back home” in Germany.
