SPADARO, Adelina (nee Girimonte) - It is with deep sadness our family announces the passing of Adelina, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at The West Park Long Term Care Centre, Toronto, at the age of 93.
Reunited with her beloved husband Michele.
She will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted children, Vincena (Gino Mandarino) and John (Mary). Devoted nonna of Lisa (Anthony D’Alimonte), John, Adam (Cara Tigue), Jenelle (Diego Bergia). Cherished bisnonna of Charlotte.
Adelina will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Lea Carpino, Ernesto Girimonte, Stefano Girimonte, Alfredo Girimonte, Giovanni Girimonte and Emma Borrelli (predeceased). Adelina will be sadly missed by her sister and brother-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The greatest joy of her life was her family and cooking all of their favourite dishes.
The family wishes to thank the nurses, personal support workers and staff at West Park Long Term Care, Kingsway Wing for the loving care shown to our Mother during her stay.
In memory of Adelina, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or to the COVID 19 Front Line Support Workers would be appreciated by the family.
