BUTT, John Nickolis - Died peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on May 25, 2020. He was in his 67th year.
Predeceased by his parents Archibald & Ruby Butt, his grandparents John & Zachriah Butt and Andrew & Jeanette Lane. His granddaughter Leah Butt.
He will be sorely missed by Dorothy, his wife and best friend for more than 28 years, his children, Jamie (Angela), Cary (Nicole), his step daughters Roxanne and Patty Lou (Erind) as well as his grandchildren Melissa, Peter, Martina, Alexander, Sarah, Logan. Rebeccalynn, and Ian, his great-grandchild Avery his sister Betty (George), and his brothers Arch (Barb) and Jim (Dolly).
John had a large family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and so many friends that will miss him dearly.
John was a Building Superintendent in Scarborough for the last 27 years and will be sadly missed by his residents.
John was well-loved by everyone, and an inspiration to us all, always cheerful, and remained positive through his illness. He leaves a big hole in our hearts which is full of great memories.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for the great care he received during his illness.
