Andrew VictorANDREW, Victor Felix - Victor Andrew passed away peacefully of natural causes after a full and rewarding life on May 24th, 2020, his 89th birthday, in the presence of his cherished wife Deanna.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mildred (nee Fernandes), his sisters Ada (Phillip) and Josephine, and brothers Emmanuel (Winnie), Mark (Teresa), Fr. Louis and Raymond. He is preceded by his niece Donna, her husband Caji, and his nephew Jason. Also preceded by his sister-in-law Lucy Mendonca (George).

He is survived by his beloved wife Deanna (nee Sequeira), son Jude (Ruth-Anne), grandchildren Nathaniel and Faith, nephew and nieces Joe (Stephanie), Jeanette (Jocelyn) and Joanna. Grand-nephews and grand-nieces Craig (Farah), Nicole (Jamie), Danielle, Michael, and Jeanelle.

He will be remembered fondly by his brother/sisters-in-law Manny Sequeira (late Ann), Pam Pereira (late Oscar), Monica Pinto (Clement) and numerous loving nephews and nieces.

Victor was a longtime parishioner and one of the first Eucharist Ministers at St. Bonaventure Church in Toronto. His deep devotion to his faith, his generous and charitable spirit and, above all, his warm gentle smile will surely be missed by all. Always ready with a kind word, a joke to tell, and a quick laugh, he was the embodiment of joy and happiness to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew, 25:40

Victor lived his life according to this passage and dedicated his life to helping others. Always grateful for the blessings that allowed him to give back to his community, he gave generously to those in need.

He and Deanna first met through their volunteer work with the Poor Aid Society in Karachi. Throughout their 56 years of marriage they continued to support many causes and charities dear to their hearts with their time and energy. Those close to Victor admired both his benevolence and strength of conviction. He has made the world a better place and would wish for each of us to continue in his example.

The family would like to thank the staff of Cheltenham Care Community for their love and care. In these difficult times, you are the true heroes in our community. Rest in Peace Dear Victor.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Clare Inn, The Shepherds' Trust or Franciscan Friars (for the care of senior Friars) c/o St. Bonaventure Church would be meaningful and deeply appreciated.

Considering restrictions due to COVID-19, and to ensure the safety of friends and family, there will be a private ceremony with a memorial service to be arranged for a later date.  Arrangements with Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, Toronto.

We regret we will not be able to acknowledge the many individual messages we receive, but they are appreciated and we thank you all for them.
