Hospedales TheresaHOSPEDALES, Theresa - Passed peacefully on the afternoon of June 4, 2020 after a courageous but brief battle with cancer at the age of 73.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Claude, her son Roger (Lana), daughter Tracy (Marlon), her grandchildren; Marcus, and Talia, and the numerous friends she held so dear.

Theresa lived a full life with no regrets. Immigrating from Trinidad to Canada in her twenties, she sacrificed and worked hard to provide her family with everything they needed, and her generosity towards others knew no bounds. She especially treasured the memories shared with family and friends in her many travels around the world.

These words taken from her favourite singer and “boyfriend” Paul Anka, sum it up best.

My friends, I'll say it clear.
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.
I've lived a life that's full.
I traveled each and every highway.
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

The Hospedales family would like to thank and acknowledge the caring and compassionate nurses and doctors at the Princess Margaret Hospital for everything they did over the past month for Theresa on her final journey.

If you wish to make a donation in Theresa’s memory, please do so to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (https://pmhf3.akaraisin.com/Donation/Event/DonationInfo.aspx?seid=12692&mid=50).

Fond memories of Theresa may be shared with the Hospedales family on the Memory Wall/Condolences at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Toronto.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be limited visitation and the funeral mass will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for immediate family only. After which, she will be laid to rest at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery. May she Rest In Peace.
