Brennan JozienaBRENNAN, Joziena 'Josie' (Van Grunsven) - It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Joziena (Josie) Brennan on Monday June 1, 2020, after a 25-year battle with Parkinson's.

Beloved wife of Robert Brennan, his constant and devoted care during her last difficult years helped her immensely. Loving mother of Sandra, Chris (Semond) and Carolyn.

Cherished grandmother of Douglas (Michele), Matthew, Jonathan, and Jasmin.

Joziena is predeceased, by her parents William and Mary Van Grunsven, brother Jack and sister Ann. She is greatly missed by her brothers and sisters, Frank, Bill (Jopie), Gerrit, Mary, and Wilberdien. She is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family members in Canada and the Netherlands.

Joziena was an incredible mother and grandmother. She loved us with all of her heart. She taught her children the importance of empathy, love, and integrity and we are forever grateful. She faced every obstacle that was put in front of her with determination, elegance and grace. She was an inspiration to anyone fortunate enough to know and love her. She will be greatly missed by all.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sheridan Villa Long Term Care in Mississauga for their compassionate care.

Due to the current restrictions a Celebration of Life for Joziena will be held at a future date.

For those who wish, donations may be made in support of Parkinson Canada.
