GANASSIN, Anna Luigia - Our beloved Anna Luigia Ganassin (nèe Milani) passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 94.
Betrothed to her soon to be husband, Palmiro, they emigrated to Ontario from their homes in the Riese Pio X and Vallà regions of Veneto, Italy.
Devoted mother to Angelo Ganassin (Janice Olano), Linda Lazzam (Charlie) & Gloria Bucci (Francesco).
Loving Nonna to Mark (Lisa Barrett), Eric & Katie Ganassin as well as Daniel & David Lazzam and to Matthew Bucci (Sabrina Campolucci), Thomas Bucci & Laura Di Caro (Julian).
She was the proud Bisnonna to Dylan, Molly, Elliot, Desmond & Marsaili Ganassin as well as to Layla Bucci and Antonio Di Caro.
Anna will be welcomed in paradise by her parents, Valentino and Augusta Milani, by her older siblings, Maria Piazza (nèe Milani) & Giuseppe Milani and by her loving husband, Palmiro Tulio Ganassin.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Woodbridge Vista in Vaughan, especially the Personal Support Workers, Nurses and Doctors on the 4th floor for their gracious care and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you take this opportunity to support the educational needs of those less fortunate through a charity of your choosing or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
