Samson BernardoSAMSON, Bernardo F.  - Age 46, passed away on June 28, 2020 with his family at his side in his home in Brampton after his battle with brain cancer.

He was born on July 6th, 1973 in Guiguinto, Bulacan— he is the son of Guadalupe Fuentes and Rosendo Samson.

Bernardo started his career at Sheraton de Manila in the Philippines and was given the opportunity to further his experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. This took place in Washington D.C in 1997, where he became an assistant cook at the Marriot Hotel.

Throughout this time, he had met his beloved wife, Leda Tanega, through their exchanges of letters and voice tapes. Their relationship ultimately began when he was in the Philippines and she was in Canada. With their daughter, Robyn Rezel, the couple were able to enjoy their many years as a family with everlasting memories, mostly as they had just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year, in May.

Along with his father, he is now predeceased to his mother, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and grandnephew; Josie, Jojo, Jay, Jamie, Brylle, Rose, Reynald, Kaitlyne, Kelvin, Norma, Jonjon, Jecjec, JR., Belen, Jenielyn, Kathleen, Freddie, Tess, JP, JC, and JL.

In addition, he became a vital part of the Tanega family whom he has left as well— parent in law, Estrella and Reynaldo, along with; Cecilia & Henry, Esmeralda, Reynalda & Gary, Lyn, Reynaldo Jr. & Maricel, Jasmin & Allan, as well as his nieces and nephews; Marc, JC, Aryana, Abrielle, Renzo, and Aljur.

A drive-through public visitation will be held on Friday July 3rd, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery to pay your respects to Bernardo.

His funeral service and burial (for immediate family only) will be on Saturday July 4th, 2020.
