ANTHOPOULOS, Eleftheria - November 14, 1922 – July 4, 2020 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleftheria Anthopoulos, peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital.
Loving and devoted wife of the late Zisis Anthopoulos.
Survived by her loving children and daughters-in-law; Chris (Sophia), George (Judy), Steve and Joanne.
Doting Yiayia to Jack (Kathy), John (JoAnne), Gloria (Jim), Norman, Don and Peter.
Proud and cherished Great-Grandmother to Christopher, Sara, Karissa, Patricia, Christian, Daniel, Tommy and Nicky.
Eleftheria will be missed by generations of family and lifelong friends in Canada, U.S., and Greece. She will always be remembered for her generosity, determination and kindness to others. May her memory be eternal.
Funeral Arrangements with the Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 AM on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 3840 Finch Ave East, Toronto, ON M1T 3T4. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers we encourage any memorial donations be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
