STAMATAKIS, Nikolaos - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nikolaos, peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday July 4, 2020.
Nikolaos is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Angela, and by his loving children Demitrios (Irene) and George (Annie).
Doting Pappou to Angela (Anastasios), Nickolaos (Leila), Nickolaos and Konstandinos (Katherine).
Proud Great-Grandfather to Nickolaos and Leila’s daughters, Lucia Anna and Elena Caterina.
ikolaos will be greatly missed by generations of family and lifelong friends both in Canada and in Greece. He will always be remembered for his kindness, conviction, and sense of humour. His devotion to family was second to none.
Due to safety concerns related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the family will gather privately for a service and interment.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage any memorial donations to be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation or to the Hellenic Hope Center
