Colafranceschi JoeyCOLAFRANCESCHI, Joseph 'Joey' - (October 13, 1961 - July 9, 2020)

After a brave 2 year battle with lung cancer, our dear brother Joseph has sadly ended his fight and is joining our father Armando, brother David and Uncle Tony on a new long and winding flight path, where they can soar.

Joey will be remembered for his sharp wit, great sense of style and generous heart. We have all been touched by Joey's sense of dry humour which left most of us smiling and laughing in his presence.

A dedicated son, uncle and partner, Joey is loved by all who have been lucky enough to have known him. His partner Nirav, mother Silvana, brothers Michael and Donald, nieces Amanda, Michele and Josephine, nephews Matthew and James, will have a new star in the sky smiling at them.

Joey was a loyal friend and a dedicated leader at the City of Toronto's transportation department where he considered his colleagues to be friends.

We will all miss Joey...

Arrangements with Ward funeral home, Woodbridge Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks you donate to his partner's Ride to Conquer Cancer fundraising page dedicated to Joey and his brave fight at: http://www.conquercancer.ca/goto/niravpatel

I joined The Ride because devoting a day to cycling is one small way I can make a big difference for cancer patients here in Toronto at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and around the world. www.conquercancer.ca
