Parkinson MarjoriePARKINSON, Marjorie (nĂ©e Daw)   - It is with great sadness we announce that Marjorie Parkinson passed away peacefully, on Tuesday July 21, 2020, at 94 years of age.

Marjorie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her beloved husband of 60 years Roy, her cherished children Kathleen Hopper (Bill) and Ian (Carolyn).

Her treasured grandchildren Andrew Hopper (Monica), Daniel Hopper (Jocelyn) and Thomas Hopper, as well as her great-grandchildren Benjamin and Edward Hopper.

Born and raised in Toronto, Marjorie was shaped by her large and loving family including parents William and Lila Daw,  brothers Charles (Lorna) and Frederick (June), sister Mary (Lewis), brothers-in-law Melville (Betty), Grenville and Warren, sister-in-law Marjorie, as well as her many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Heartfelt thanks to Barbara Huth for her years of friendship and thoughtful attention, and sincere thanks to Dr. S. K. Paul Chan for his compassionate care and professionalism.

Throughout her long life Marjorie was a woman of quiet strength and integrity, who loved her family and friends. As a mother, grandmother, sister and friend she tenderly nurtured those close to her, and her deep love, strong values, and kind spirit will be carried on in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place and due to the unprecedented situation with COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to hold a private celebration of life with immediate family.
