Boyd StephenBOYD, Stephen Lawrence - It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother Stephen Boyd at his home on July 29, 2020.

Stephen was a loving brother to Grant (Michelle), Kathy Strachan (John), Roland (Betty-Lou), and Cindy Rowan (Tim).

Steve was a loving uncle and great uncle to all of his nieces and nephews, Jennifer & Jeremy, Matthew & Stephanie, Laura & Andrew, Kirk, Linzi, Sarah & Scott, Vicky, Gregory, Ruby, Sam, and Memphis.

Steve was predeceased by his mother Alice Vaughan (nee Cran), and will be sadly missed by his father Bruce Boyd and his many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

He was always an important part of our celebrations and all of our family get-togethers. Steve would show up for everybody’s different endeavors. He participated in the JDRF walk and the Parkinsons walk to help support his family. Steve loved being around people and was always helping everybody with their many projects. He could always be counted on to show up with his tools to help with every job. Steve enjoyed lively discussions about politics, music, sports, (including his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and Argos) and was always genuinely interested in everybody’s personal interests.

His consistent love and support to his family and friends will be cherished for years to come.

Cremation will take place soon and a celebration of life will be held by the immediate family due to Covid-19 restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favourite charity or to Epilepsy Canada. Steve’s brothers and sisters will be placing a memorial bench at Sauble Beach.

He will be greatly missed.
