BENEDICTO, Romeo - Passed away on Friday July 31, 2020 at the age of 85 at the Scarborough General Hospital.
Romeo was born on June 30th, 1935 in Sagay, Philippines to Rolenda Jalandoni Gonzaga and Felix Dy-Guaso Benedicto Jr.
He was a brother to Virginia Gonzaga, Adelie Tupas-Serondo, and the late Rolendo Gonzaga.
He was a loving husband of 64 years to Marilyn Suarez Benedicto.
He leaves behind a legacy of 8 children (Rogelio, Marjorie, Melodia, Josephine, Romeo Jr., Vivian, Rolyn and Joseph), 11 grandchildren (Kathy, Roel, Mara, Ryan, Cris, Bryan, Mark, Josie, Bea, Brenda, and Roice), and 12 great grandchildren (Louis, Kiel, Ezsha, Rhylle, Rayven, Jasmine, Desery, Jade, Peerzzia, Junie, Georgina, and Helena).
Romeo was a devout Christian who believed in committing his life in service of God and his family. He was known for his kindness and generosity to all who would come to him for help. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched.
