Feeney PatrickFEENEY, Patrick Francis - (January 28th, 1930 - August 11th, 2020) -

Patrick passed away peacefully in his 91st year shortly after being admitted to South Lake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario.

Patrick was the son of Patrick and Maybel Feeney of the city of Toronto.

Patrick was married to Elsa Dora Feeney ((nee Bahr) Dec 26th, 1934 - May 14th, 2004) and is survived by his four sons, Michael (Cathy), Brian (Susan), Kirk and Ryan (Marie), brother Gerald (Verrall) and grandchildren Brandon, Brent, Bradley, Jacob, Cassidy, Riley, Shayleen, Austin, Alex, Kyle, Curtis and great grandchild Maddison and uncle to Martin and Leslie.

Patrick is also survived by his close friend and companion Ellie Probst with whom he shared many good times and fond memories later in life.

Patrick grew up in the city of Toronto and as a young man loved to travel. He would hop in a car with a friend or on his own and travel down south through the USA and Mexico on many occasions.

Patrick began his working career at Planter Peanuts in the city of Toronto where he stayed for over 25 years, meeting his future wife Elsa who had come over from Germany. For years Patrick spent many a winters day chauffeuring around the 4 boys to countless rinks and spending many memorable hours watching his boys play hockey.

Patrick will be dearly missed by his his 4 sons, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, many friends and all those with whom he worked with him over the years in the Vending business that he started later in life.

A private funeral will be held on Monday August 17th at St Johns Cemetery in Mississauga in honour of his many years of loving life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17th at the Skinner Middlebrook Funeral Home, 128 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Visitation will be limited to 22 people per session.

There will be two sessions available:
1:30pm – 2:00pm
2:00pm – 2:30pm

We are required to schedule people for the visitations as best we can and in order to do so request that anyone wishing to attend the visitation please RSVP back to Brian Feeney by email no later than Friday at 3:00pm at This email address is being protected from spambots. Given the circumstances around Covid 19, we understand that not everyone will feel comfortable coming to the visitation, but we know everyone will be thinking about our Dad and your friend on this day.
