Trichilo TonyTRICHILO, Antonio L. 'Tony' - It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Trichilo, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

Mr. Trichilo or “Tony”, to those who knew him best, was born on June 15th, 1940, in Siderno Calabria, Italy and passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on September 20, 2020, at Trillium Hospital, after becoming ill.

Tony was the loving son of the late Francesco and Immaculata, a brother to Michele (Rosalba), Vincent (Vittoria), and Maria (Frank), brother-in-law to Maria (Paul), John (Mary).

He was a devoted husband to the late Anita (Jacobelli) and leaves behind a loving daughter Rosemarie, three wonderful sons, Francesco (Marcela), Anthony (Elvira), and Ricardo (Nicole), three caring grandchildren, Adriana, Michaelanthony, and Carter, many adoring nieces and nephews, and countless cherished friends.

Tony was an incredibly hard-working man who devoted his life to supporting and caring for his family. He enjoyed many things including cutting and styling his clients' hair for many years, tending to his garden, taking day trips to the casino and playing poker with a glass of homemade wine. However, what Tony loved most, was spending time with his beautiful family and friends.

Despite the sudden passing of Tony, we find solace in knowing that he has been freed of that which ailed him. While he was a man of few words, his love was abundant and undying.

May he now rest peacefully amongst the angels with his beloved parents and wife at his side.

For those wishing to pay their respects, the viewing will be held at Scott's Funeral Home, Mississauga chapel on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th. Due to the persisting Covid-19 situation, if you wish to attend, please contact Rosie Trichilo at (416) 984-0223 to schedule an appointment.

The funeral mass will be taking place on Monday, September 28th at Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. However, due to the pandemic, attendance needs to be reserved. Contact Rosie if you wish to attend the funeral mass. Reservations must be made by Friday Sept 26 at 7:00 pm.

For those wishing, we ask that you please donate to the Cancer Society in Tony's name, in place of gifting floral arrangements.

On behalf of Tony's family, we thank everyone for their continued love and support during these incredibly difficult and unprecedented times
