Wagner BruceWAGNER, Bruce Charles - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a special man on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the age of 90, at Maple Grove Long Term Care.

Bruce will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Shirley, of 67 years.

Loving father of Debbie Webster (Ken) and Karen Furness (Mario). Cherished grandfather of Greg Webster (Danielle), Kaitlyn Hedstrom (Bobby), Michael Furness and Brian Furness. Dear great grandfather of Hailey, Shannon and Hannah.

He is survived by his sister Helen Muirhead (Bruce), sister-in-law Marlene Ruth (Blaine) and brother-in-law Jack Russell. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nephews, niece, extended family and friends.

Bruce had many hobbies and interests. He was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to his music while sipping on his favourite glass of wine or liquor. He spent his days tending to his many aquariums and making wine. On Saturday night, he looked forward to watching the Toronto Maple Leafs. When the weather permitted he was always tending to his beautiful flower gardens and manicured lawns.

Bruce spent his last five years at Maple Grove Long Term Care. He was well liked and respected by everyone there. The love and care that was shown to him will be certainly remembered.

Private funeral arrangements have been made via Andrews funeral home, Brampton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
