Samuel CyrilSAMUEL, Cyril C. - (June 2, 1947 - October 16, 2020) - Our family is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather Cyril Samuel.

Cyril passed away peacefully on October 16, 2020 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital after a year-long battle with dementia and health complications.

Cyril is survived by his wife Susan, his son Curtis, and his daughter Sharla. His four step-children, Dondrub, Dennis, Brian, and Annique also survive him.

He had a special place in his heart for his three grandchildren, Anaiya, Sidney, and Zola. Also surviving are brothers Vincent, Noel, Chris, Peter, Michael, and sisters Paulette, Valerie, Judy, Cheryl, Ingrid, and Patricia.

Cyril was born in Brighton Village, St. Vincent and emigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1968. He worked at Massey-Ferguson for 10 years and had a 35-year long career as a member of the Toronto Transit Commission. He will be missed and remembered by his extended family, his large circle of friends, and the many people he helped along the way.

Cyril, we will always love you and will miss you forever.

Arrangements with Ogden funeral home, Scarborough. Due to restrictions resulting from the pandemic, the family of Cyril Samuel will be hosting a rotating visitation with limited attendance indoors on Tuesday, October 20th from 3 - 5pm.  You may have to wait outside once the allowed limit has been reached. Attendees must wear face masks and follow all physical distancing protocols.

The private family service will be live-streamed. If interested in viewing, please contact one of the family members for details.
