SGRO, Rosemary Lucille (Pemberton) - (August 12, 1952 – October 14, 2020)
It is with great sadness that the family of Rosemary Sgro announces her sudden passing on October 14, 2020.
A helping hand, a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on and so much more, Rosemary did everything and anything she could to help those around her. Her door was always open and there was always space at her table.
Cherished wife of 41 years to Joe. Adoring mother to Greg (Allie), Mat (Erica), Mike (Fatme) and Nikki (Logan). Doting grandmother to “Nana’s girls”, Kenzie, Lexie, Maddie and Jojo, who were her pride and joy.
With Rosemary’s departure the world lost more than a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a friend; it lost an individual who made the world a better place one relationship at a time.
Born in Halifax to Étoile Gaudet and Arthur Pemberton, Rosemary was a loving sister to Faye (Brian), Art (Bronya), Bonny (Bob), Dawn, Duane, and Deanna, and to her sisters-in-law Lisa (Greg) and Cecilia (Nato). She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
In keeping with COVID restrictions, a private ceremony service will take place. Arrangements with Thompson funeral home, Aurora.
