GIVON, Barbara - It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Barbara Lee Givon (Weisberg, Thomas) on Monday October 19, 2020 after a 27 year battle with cancer.
Barbara was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, bubie, sister, aunt and friend.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband Isaac; Her son Jake Thomas (Wendy) and her adoring grandchildren Abby, Maddie, and Ben; brothers Paul Weisberg (Arlene) and Allan Weisberg (TC), sister Nancy Weisbrod (Stephen); and beloved nieces and nephews Samantha, Jessica, and Jaimie, Stacey, Noah, Sarah, Sam, Max, Mendy, and Nate.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Margaret Weisberg.
Barbara had a love for family and lived life to the fullest. She and Isaac travelled the world together and never let her illness slow her down. Her strength and selflessness were immeasurable. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
We would like to thank Dr. Marnie Howe and the staff at Sinai Health for prolonging Barbara's quality of life for the past seven years.
A Family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
