SOLOMITA, Lucia (nee Cerullo) - (1931 - 2020) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lucia Solomita on October 26, 2020.

Beloved wife of Salvatore, and cherished mother of Serina (Orlando). She will forever be remembered as a loving “Nonna” to Rachel and Andrew.

She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy and she will be forever remembered as the kind and loving woman she was.

Lucia is now reunited in heaven with two of her children, her parents and her siblings who passed before her.

She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.

Visitation (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Friday, October 30th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31st at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr.). Private Family Entombment to follow.

If so desired, donations in memory of Lucia may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
