HORTON, Frederick, QC, - Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2021 in his 87th year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years Barbara (Babs) and son Peter (Jo-Anne), he is survived by son Jonathan and daughter Penny, their spouses Cynthia and Harris, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Fred was well travelled, extremely well read and educated at 5 post-secondary institutions - UCLA, McMaster (BA), Osgoode Law School (LLB), Waterloo (MA), University of Reading (B.Ed.).
In retirement he enjoyed many years in Arizona: golfing, acting and avoiding our winters.
Special thanks to the staff at Kingsway Place Aurora, Southlake Hospital and the Reactivation Care Centre for all of their caregiving, companionship, and flexibility during this most difficult of times.
