MARTINS, Jerome (Jack) - Jerome (Jack) Martins, 79, of Scarborough, Ontario, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jerome was born December 4th, 1940 in Georgetown, Guyana and came to make his home in Canada in 1971.
Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ave, along with two children, Wayne (Allison) Martins of Pickering and Andrea (Michael) Ahrens of Kitchener and five grandchildren, Olivia, Keira, Jack, Alexander and Nicholas.
He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Mary King, Zena Martins and Agnes Wilson along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Ermelinda Bell, and brothers Frank Martin and Stanley Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or your local minor sports association in memory of Jerome.
When the COVID-19 pandemic has passed, we will host a celebration of Jerome’s life at a later time. Arrangements entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Scarborough chapel.
