Perri IolandaPERRI, Iolanda - Iolanda Perri was born on August 23, 1930 in Rende, Cosenza, Italy and passed away on November 27, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 90 years.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Carmen and her beloved son Frank.

Loving Nonna of Robert (Amy), Brian (Lindsey) and the loving Bis Nonna of Jackson and Avarie.

Iolanda was preceded in death by her brother Francesco, and sister Teresa (Dante). She will be forever cherished by her sisters Elvira (Francesco) and Divina (Attilio predeceased) and her sister in law Anna.

She will be held dear in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Over her 90 years she lived and exemplified so many exceptional traits, she was an honest, caring, strong woman who always put the needs of others before hers. A kind, welcoming spirit.

She loved her grandchildren, was over the moon when she saw her great grandchildren, she adored her sisters and brother and would do what she could to help them. From cooking for them to visiting them, she would always find a way, even if that meant taking a bus!

From an amazing cook to a gracious host, she always made sure you were well fed and would send you home with way too many goodies!

Her life was filled with many challenges and was never one to complain or let it get the best of her. A natural nurturer, she cared for her beloved Mother for many years and shared a special bond with her niece Vincenza, who in turned, cared for her for many years. A special thank you to Cenz for all of the loving care you have given to her.

Iolanda will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family and friends.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions limiting the number of family permitted to attend services, the visitation, funeral service and entombment will remain private for the immediate family only. There will be a Memorial Mass announced at a later date when everyone can gather together. The family greatly appreciates your thoughtful words and gestures of sympathy at this time. Arrangements are entrusted with Jerrett funeral homes, St. Clair Chapel, Toronto.

If desired, donations in Memory of Iolanda Perri may be made to Princess Margaret or the Canadian Cancer Society (Colon Cancer).
