WISENER, Andrew (Mendie) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mendie Wisener, peacefully on December 3rd, 2020.
Loving husband of 65 years to Freda, devoted father to Sheldon and Bonnie, Allan and Temima. Cherished grandfather to Melanie, Jamie, Nicole, Sydney and Kyla. Brother-in-law to Aaron and Henie and Leible and beloved Uncle.
Born in Hungary in 1927, Mendie was a Holocaust survivor of 3 concentration camps who made his way to Canada in 1948. He built a new life in a new country, raised a family and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He was a quiet, strong and resilient man who was very family focused. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
