Rydz AnastazjaRYDZ, Anastazja - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anastazja Rydz on January 5th, 2021. She was 85 years old.

Anastazja was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched.

Anastazja, ciocia Stasia to so many, is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John and Anna, her beloved grandson Matthew; her brother-in-law Bronislaw; her nieces Halina (Kazimierz), Krystyna (Bernard), Mariola (Robert), Teresa (Roman) and Danuta (late Ireneusz), as well as her many nephews and nieces whom she adored.

Predeceased by her devoted husband Michal, sister Maria, brothers Jan and Stefan.

Anastazja was a tiny person with a very big heart. She loved her family deeply and has touched the lives of so many with her generosity and kindness. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Etobicoke on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church (123 10th Street, Etobicoke). Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.  

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home or church facilities are limited. Guests wishing to attend must select a time slot by registering on the Sign Up Link on Ms. Rydz's memorial page on the funeral home website. Those not registered may have to wait to be admitted as space permits.

All guests will be expected to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.
