SURBEK, Josip - Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Born February, 2 1931 in the beautiful green hills of Zagorje, Croatia.
Josip Surbek at the age of 89 years, beloved husband of Ilka Surbek (Alilovic).
Loving father of Mary (known by him as Maca), Doting Fater-in-law to Chris Cvetkovski (and the late Alar Pahapill).
Sadly missed by his sister: Pina Greguric (the late Milan), and predeceased by Marija Papov (the late Josip), Ivan (Pina), Stanko (Angela), Eddy (Ankica).
Forever in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and close friends who were like family to the Surbeks both here and throughout Europe.
Resting at Heritage Funeral Centre on Saturday, January 9th, 2021. Interment in Etobicoke.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Michael Garron Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
