WEISLOGEL, Ruth - (1926 - 2021) - Ruth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard.
Survived by brothers Peter, Heinz (Brigitte) and sister Anneliese. Loving mother to Sabine (Dan), Karen (Richard), Oma to Sara (Chris), Paul (Michelle), and Hannah. Great-Oma to Lucas, Olivia, Reid and Sophie.
She will also be remembered by extended family, both here and abroad.
Born in Germany, Ruth emigrated to Canada as a young woman to begin her career and family with her husband, Richard. Ruth retired in 1992 from Peel Memorial Hospital after a dedicated career as an RNA in the maternity ward.
She was always very physically active in her retirement years, traveling, bike riding and spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the staff of Greenway Retirement Residence for their care.
Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton" Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to the charity of your choice be made in Ruth’s memory.
