LANDERS, Marjorie Anne (nee SMITH) - It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Marjorie on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital at the age of 100 years old.
A wonderful wife to Ken (predeceased) for 70 years and devoted mother to Margaret (Denis) Haley, Bill (the late Denise) Landers and Dave (Debbie) Landers.
Remembered by her grandchildren Michael (Kathleen), Glen (Jennifer), Karen (Alain), Sandy (Mathieu), Mark (Marcy) and Peter (Katelyn).
Proud great-grandmother of Hunter, Charlie, Jack, Melissa, Alexandre, Tyler, Jesse, Mason and Ella.
Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Ted. Marjorie will be remembered for her kind and gentle ways, always lending a helping hand when needed.
She was an avid reader and loved to knit in her leisure time.
She also had a great reputation for making the best chocolate cakes and fruit pies, always favourites with her grandchildren.
Marjorie enjoyed many winters with Ken in Panama City Beach, Florida and numerous family vacations at North Redington Beach, Florida.
She loved the sun and beach! Special thanks to the Nurses, PSWs and staff at King Gardens Retirement Home for the loving care they gave our Mom the last 6 years.
