Burello AngeloBURELLO, Angelo - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Angelo Burello, on January 11, 2021. Angelo was called from us at the age of 82, suddenly with heart and lung disease.

Angelo was born in the town of Maierato, Catanzaro, Italy on July 4, 1938, the second child of four for Domenico Burello and Cattolica Direnzo. He immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto where he married and raised two daughters.

Angelo, devoted husband of Maria (predeceased). Cherished father of Silvana and Albina. Loving nonno of Robert and Isabella Emanuelli.

Admired brother of Giuseppe and his wife Rachela, Vincenza and her husband Pasquale, and Francesco and his wife Maria, his brothers-in-law Domenic Simonetta (Maria predeceased), Domenic Gallello (Agatha predeceased), Beniamino Simonetta and Magdalena, and sisters in law Annunziata (Giacomo predeceased) and Caterina (Antonio predeceased). Angelo will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews and friends.

Special thanks to Tony Martins who he thought of as the son he never had who was there for him and his daughters to the very end. We will be forever grateful for your support. Special thank you to Father Tiziano Paolazzi from St. Anthony's Church for all of his prayers. Special thank you to Maureen at the Jerrett Funeral Home who helped us organize his memorial service under these trying times.

The Burello family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and condolences at this very difficult time. Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions for the number of people permitted to attend funeral services, the visitation, funeral service and the entombment service will remain private for the family only. For those family and friends that will not be able to attend, the Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Saturday January 16th at 10 a.m.  *The Livestream Link will be posted on the website of Jerrett funeral home, ST CLAIR Chapel. Click on Mr. Burello's memorial page, and then click under the Funeral Service to access the service from about 30- 40 minutes before the service begins.

Angelo will be laid to rest during a Private Family Service at Prospect Cemetery.

In loving memory and in lieu of flowers of Angelo, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
