Davey PatriciaDAVEY, Patricia Maureen (nee Stevens), BA - Born March 30, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario.

A young Patricia Stevens spent her childhood with her mother, May Stevens living in Toronto and briefly in Winnipeg. It was in Toronto where Patricia spent a cherished childhood with her mother, developed lifelong friendships, finished high school, entered the workforce, and met her future husband Bert.

Patricia was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance where she spent her early adulthood until she met the love of her life Bert on a blind date at his parents' home. This date led to 65 wonderful years of marriage.

Patricia dedicated her life to her children Katherine and Todd, but was especially proud of her “absolutely perfect” grandchildren Elizabeth, Liam, and Grace.

She was generous, loyal and kind to her many friends including Grace Fitzpatrick and Barbara Bannon. Patricia was a gracious hostess who enjoyed entertaining both in her home and at the family cottage. One of her proudest and greatest personal achievements was her Bachelor of Arts from York University which she completed in her fifties.

She passed peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Patricia’s Christian faith was very important to her. Patricia had a desire to help others, share her bright and powerful spirit, and was always fiercely loyal to those she loved and cared for. The world is dimmer without her light.
