Needham JohnNEEDHAM, John Albert   -  Passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital on January 12, 2021 at the age of 87.

Predeceased by his beautiful and vivacious wife of 64 years, Joan Lillian Needham (nee Chapman); the love they shared for decades will live on forever in the hearts of those who met them.

John was the beloved brother to Joan, Jan, Joy (deceased), Robert, Linda, and Bert who will miss him most dearly.

He was also a kind and deeply caring uncle to John (deceased), Shelley, Lisa, Dan, Jenny, Leslie, Max, Julie, Heather, Stewart, Carey, Matthew, and Beth. He and Joan were often referred in their Toronto neighborhood as the "King and Queen of Parkdale."

He leaves behind a large community of friends and neighbours who will feel his absence for many years to come. He spent fifty wonderful years of his life cottaging on Wolf Lake, and has left many memories full of laughter and goodwill there too.

John was born on December 8, 1933 and spent the first few years of his life in Algonquin Park before moving to Toronto with his parents.

John had a special way with people and a gentle approach to life. He was a dedicated family man who always went out of his way to help anyone he met however he could.

He leaves behind the lesson that the best kind of love is inspired, not expected.

Arrangements will be made for a Celebration of Life later this year.
