Murphy MargMURPHY, Margaret Mary -1939 - 2021 - With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Margaret (Fullalove) Murphy, who on January 15, 2021 lost her long battle with Dementia and more recently with Covid-19.

Predeceased by her husband Gerry, she will be missed by her children Sharon (Jerry Vienneau), Lisa (Robert Snucins) and Anthony (Katerina Murphy) as well as her grandchildren Ryan, Dylan, Lia, Cassidy, Ava, Anna, and Alex.

Born on September 8th, 1939 in Belfast to May and Frank Fullalove, she grew up with 6 sisters and 5 brothers in a house that was truly “Full of Love”. This gave Maggie her strong sense of family, love of a good laugh or a chat over a cup of tea.

She met Gerry Murphy, the love of her life on the dance floor and they remained dance partners for the next 23 years. Together, they cherished time with family, enjoyed a good tall tale, and shared a sense of adventure that brought them to Canada in the early 60’s, where they raised their three children.

Margaret was always active, loved to walk and play tennis and couldn’t wait for her next vacation and spending time with her grandkids.

This beautiful Irish lass, who was a kind and loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend to so many, will be greatly missed by all who had the honour to know and love her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Trilogy Long Term Care Home for taking such good care of her the last few years.

Due to COVID restrictions the funeral service will be live-streamed via the funeral home for those who wish to attend virtually. Join the family on Wednesday January 20th at 11:00 EST as we live stream the funeral service by opening the following link in a new window; www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/9750

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of Margaret.
