Demasi SalvatoreDEMASI, Salvatore - It is with great sadness that the family of Salvatore Demasi announces his passing on January 15, 2021 at the age of 82 years, after a long illness, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Salvatore was born on January 28, 1938 in Fabrizia, Catanzaro, Italy. He came to Toronto, Ontario in 1958 after marrying his beloved wife Rosina in Italy, where began their life together raising their family.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Rosina of 62 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Domenico (Loretta), Lucia, Benito (Maria).

He was a very proud and loving Nonno of Michele (Erica), Kyle (Kailee), Adamo, Marco and Davide. Beloved brother of Maria. Adoring Zio to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Giuseppina (Virginio), Rosina (Gisberto) and Immacolata (Luigi).

Salvatore will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of his family and many friends.

The Demasi family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and condolences at this very difficult time.

Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions for the number of people permitted to attend funeral services, the visitation, funeral service and the entombment service will remain private for the family only.

For those family and friends that will not be able to attend, a portion of the visitation will be livestreamed on Wednesday, January 20th via the website of Jerrett funeral home, ST. CLAIR CHAPEL, Toronto. The Livestream Link will be posted under the Visitation to access the visitation when it begins, please see details on the funeral home website once they are available.

If desired, donations in Memory of Salvatore Demasi may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
