GIARDINO, Mary Theresa (nee LOFEODO)  - July 26, 1931 – January 23, 2021

Born in Toronto on July 26, 1931 to Angelina and Francesco.

Mary grew up surrounded by her 12 siblings and a large extended family of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Throughout her life, her compassion shone most brightly when she was hosting, always extending herself so that everyone would feel like they were at home.

She enjoyed many adventures in her world travels with her husband and their band of close-knit friends, never more than when she found herself in the warm sun on a white sandy beach.

She will be greatly missed by her siblings Florie, Mafalda (Duke), Josie (Nino), Junie (Larry) and Dominic (Josephine).

Loving wife of Alfredo Giardino who predeceased her and caring mother to Anthony (Alda), Angela Cinapri (Claudio), Robert (Carol).

Mary was a tender and lighthearted grandmother to Michelle, Robert, Lisa (Grant) and Adriana, and great-grandmother to Tegan, Wyatt and Edie.

She has left fond memories of sharing stories and laughter over bowls of ice cream and coconut tarts. Mary's smile and fierce spirit will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Hydrocephalus Canada online at www.mybrainwaves.ca

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family funeral service held in Thornhill, Ontario.
