Law NickiLAW, Diane “Nicki” (McGlade) Law - It is with great sadness that we, the Law girls, announce the death of our dear mother Diane “Nicki” Law.

She passed with all her daughters by her side on February 17, 2021. In these challenging times, she got her wish and she was not alone.

Nicki was known for her boundless generosity, fierce loyalty to her family and friends, and endless spirit for adventure.

She will now rest with her husband and best friend, Alan Law and her cherished grandson, Matthew Vogtle.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Elizabeth (Robert Vogtle); Diane (Greg Davies), and Nancy (Iain Taylor); by her treasured grandchildren Jennifer and Laura Vogtle, Emily and Simon Taylor, and Sean Davies.

She was adored by her sister, Norma, her cherished nieces and nephews, her grandnieces and nephews, and her many steadfast friends.

Nicki was predeceased by her parents Delia Derouin and Jack McGlade and siblings Bonnie Kehoe, Barbara Carr, Cathy Moran, and David McGlade.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the commitment and care of the oncology team led by Dr. Neesha Dhani during mom’s illness, as well as the devotion and support of the medical and palliative teams at Princess Margaret, Toronto General, and Kensington Hospice this year.

The immediate family will attend a funeral service to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Wednesday, February 24th.

In lieu of flowers, it was Nicki’s preference that any donations be directed to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation - Immune Therapy Program Fund.
