CARPENTER, Maria (nee WESSELS) - October 15, 1939 to March 1, 2021
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ria, our loving and devoted mother and friend, to those whose lives she touched, on March 1, 2021, at the age of 81.
Ria was a dedicated wife to Bernie and devoted mother first and foremost to her 3 children, Steven, Marcia and Scott. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.
She especially loved her role as Oma to Nicholas, Tori, Jake, Spencer, Paris, Owen and Brayden.
She was a kind, gentle, loving soul who made everyone feel welcome. Ria was predeceased by her husband, Bernie and leaves behind her 3 children, Steven Carpenter (Krista), Marcia Molinaro (Frank) and Scott Carpenter (Tiffany), along with her beautiful grandchildren who she adored, Tori and Spencer Carpenter, Nicholas, Jakob and Paris Molinaro and Owen and Brayden Carpenter.
Beautiful sister to Anne Wessels-Boelens (predeceased) and Gerry Knowles Her loss is felt by all those who loved her, from the countless friends and family, but her passing brings her peace.
It is said a person never truly dies until the person with the last memory of her dies.
Ria touched so many that she will live among us all for a very long time.
